The image explains how to mount the non-tilting barrel for the GSI Glock series.
Optional inner barrels have minute differences in outer diameter for each brand. To solve this problem and improve performance, a rubber O-ring is installed inside the outer barrel. When the barrel is mounted on the inner barrel, it is assembled a little tight. If you want a smooth assembly, it is good to use a little silicone-based grease on the outside of the inner barrel.
The non-tilting barrel is designed to fix the inner and outer barrels in a certain position.
- Rubber O-ring installed inside the outer barrel
- Improvement of clearance between lower frame and chamber
- Diameter extension of the front of the outer barrel
The design factor above is the factor that has the greatest influence on the accuracy of the BB shot at the moment the pistol is fired.
Even with a good precision inner barrel and hop-up rubber, accuracy cannot be improved unless the inner barrel is placed in a certain position when firing.
The non-tilting barrel puts the position of the inner barrel in a consistent position, so the accuracy is improved.
