Designed for VFC G17 Gen5 Airsoft GBB pistols, this matched slide and GSI NTB™ Non-Tilting Outer Barrel set features the Classic Serration configuration with rear slide serrations only.
The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum slide and GSI NTB™ are designed to work together as a matched system, providing a stable and repeatable barrel platform while maintaining the classic rear-serration slide configuration.

CLASSIC SERRATION – REAR SERRATIONS ONLY
The Classic Serration Type features rear slide serrations only, maintaining the traditional slide configuration.
For users who prefer serrations at both the front and rear of the slide, GSI also offers a separate Dual Serration Type.
A MATCHED SLIDE & NTB SYSTEM
The GSI NTB™ Metal Slide Set combines two critical components of the upper assembly—the slide and outer barrel—into one matched system.
Rather than combining an aftermarket slide and outer barrel independently, the slide and GSI NTB™ Non-Tilting Outer Barrel are designed to operate together as a complete system.

A quality hop-up bucking can make a significant difference in airsoft performance. But even the best hop-up system needs a stable and repeatable barrel platform to perform consistently.
The GSI NTB™ Non-Tilting Outer Barrel was developed to address the movement and clearance inherent in conventional tilting-barrel systems.
WHY NON-TILTING?
A conventional GBB pistol requires clearance around the barrel assembly to allow the barrel to tilt during cycling.
Depending on the design and manufacturing tolerances, this clearance can allow movement not only vertically, but also laterally.
This means the inner barrel and hop-up assembly may not always settle into exactly the same position at the moment of firing.
For consistent grouping, consistency matters.
The BB should leave the barrel under repeatable conditions—with consistent barrel alignment, hop-up contact, and direction.
THE GSI NTB™ APPROACH
GSI developed the NTB™ system to create a more stable and repeatable barrel platform.
The internal O-ring supports the inner barrel and helps minimize unnecessary movement while accommodating variations in inner barrel outer diameter.
Combined with a slide designed to work with the NTB™ system, these features help maintain the barrel system in a more consistent position at the moment of firing.

Think of a quality hop-up bucking like a performance tire.
A better tire can dramatically improve a car's performance—but the tire still depends on proper suspension geometry and alignment to perform consistently.
The same principle applies to an airsoft GBB pistol.
The NTB™ does not replace a quality hop-up system.
It provides the stable mechanical foundation that allows the hop-up system to perform more consistently.
CNC-MACHINED METAL SLIDE
The slide is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and hard anodized for durability.
The slide stopper notch is specially reinforced to improve wear resistance in this high-contact area.
MORE THAN BARREL STABILITY
The non-tilting design also supports compatible muzzle-mounted Airsoft accessories without requiring the outer barrel to tilt during slide cycling.
